Ice Experience

Ice Experience is a phenomenal driving experience on the most challenging surfaces imaginable: snow and ice. We welcome you to Åre and Kall, where you can enjoy the perfect combination of adrenaline-fueled driving experiences and first-class hospitality, all in a serene wilderness landscape. After an exhilarating day behind the wheel, you can enjoy first-class accommodation at the fashionable Copperhill with access to a fantastic spa and a delicious 3-course dinner.

The Ice and the Setup:
Our professional instructors, along with the local ice entrepreneurs, ensure that you learn the secret behind not only starting a drift with a powerful 4-wheel drive car, but also maintaining and ending it correctly! When you “get the hang of it,” there’s a euphoria behind the wheel, and it’s you who feels the euphoria!
Through many repetitions in a number of different exercises, by the end of the day, you will “graduate” on the long lap around the lake that includes everything we have practiced:
Right acceleration, right braking point, right steering, right throttle to maintain the drift… right through to the end! That’s when you realize what real driving is all about.

The Cars:
The line-up for 2024 includes:
Volkswagen T-Roc R with 300 hp, Golf R with 320 hp, and Porsche 911 GTS with 480 hp! All cars are 4-wheel drive, equipped with DSG or PDK automatic transmissions, and are fitted with special studded tires for fair grip on the slippery but exciting ice.

Accommodation to Suit Your Taste and Budget:
In and around Åre, there is a wide range of accommodation options, from classic mountain hotels like the picturesque Kallgården and traditional cabin rentals through Skistar, to the area’s gem, Copperhill, majestically perched on the top of Förberget in southern Åre. At Copperhill, pamper yourself with the region’s sharpest view, best SPA, and a top-class restaurant.

Package with Accommodation, Dinner, and a Full Day of Driving in Winter 2024:

On March 10-11 and 17-18, we offer you a complete package for those who want to challenge themselves between the steering wheel and backrest:
Single room accommodation at Copperhill, access to SPA, 3-course dinner, and a full day on the lake in our cars (2 people per car) from SEK 9,900 per person + VAT. Table water is included in the price, but for those who want to enjoy a drink, there is an extensive beverage list to choose from at your own expense.

Note that there are MANY more dates available in the cars and on the ice for those who arrange their own accommodation or want to come for the day!
