Ice Experience is an unparalleled driving experience on the most difficult surface imaginable: snow and ice. Full day of ice skating in Åre in the winter of 2026.

Car Events' professional instructors will teach you the secret of creating and controlling a skid. When you "get" the trick, a euphoria arises behind the wheel and you are the one who feels the euphoria!

With the help of many repetitions in a number of different sub-exercises, you will get longer laps at the end of the day that contain everything you have practiced.

The cars:

The line-up for 2026 includes Volkswagen Golf R with 333 hp and Porsche 911 GTS with 541 hp! All cars are 4-wheel drive, have DSG or PDK automatic transmission and are equipped with special studded tires for fair grip on the slippery but fierce ice. Note: there are two people per car.

Accommodation according to taste, preference and budget:

Åre and the surrounding area offer a wide range of accommodation, from classic mountain hotels such as the picturesque Kallgården, to traditional cabin rentals, for example through Skistar, to the jewel of the region, Copperhill Mountain Lodge, at the top of Förberget in southern Åre. At Copperhill Mountain Lodge, you can treat yourself to the region's most spectacular views, the best spa, and a restaurant of the highest class.

Accommodation is not included in the price – you must arrange this yourself.

We organize Ice Experience every year from the beginning of January to the end of March.

Price:

  • The price is 10,900 + VAT and includes everything related to driving (transportation and accommodation are not included):
    The start and finish of the drive is in Järpen.

    Lunch at Kallgården, afternoon coffee break on the ice with buns, and water and candy during the day are included.
