Ice Experience
Ice Experience is an unparalleled driving experience on the most difficult surface imaginable: snow and ice. We welcome you to Åre and Kall, where you can enjoy the perfect combination of adrenaline-pumping driving experiences and first-class hospitality, all in a tranquil wilderness landscape. After an eventful day behind the wheel, enjoy first-class accommodation at Copperhill Mountain Lodge with access to a fantastic spa and a delicious 3-course dinner.

Join us for a full day of ice driving in Åre this winter!
Car Events' professional instructors will teach you the secret of creating and controlling a skid. When you "get" the trick, a euphoria arises behind the wheel and you are the one who feels the euphoria!
With the help of many repetitions in a number of different sub-exercises, you will get longer laps at the end of the day that contain everything you have practiced.
The cars:
The 2027 lineup includes: Volkswagen Golf R with 333 hk and Porsche 911 GTS with 541 hk! All cars are all-wheel drive, feature a DSG or PDK automatic transmission, and are equipped with special studded tires for optimal traction on the slippery yet exhilarating ice. Note: There is seating for two people per car.
Accommodation according to taste, preference and budget:
Åre and the surrounding area offer a wide range of accommodation, from classic mountain hotels such as the picturesque Kallgården, to traditional cabin rentals, for example through Skistar, to the jewel of the region, Copperhill Mountain Lodge, at the top of Förberget in southern Åre. At Copperhill Mountain Lodge, you can treat yourself to the region's most spectacular views, the best spa, and a restaurant of the highest class.
Accommodation is not included in the price – you must arrange this yourself.
We organize Ice Experience every year from the beginning of January to the end of March.

Price:
- The price covers everything related to the drive (transportation and lodging are not included): The drive starts and ends in Järpen. Lunch at Kallgården, an afternoon snack on the ice with a bun, as well as water and candy throughout the day are included.
